Nick assists in guiding Headwall’s development vision and strategy. He is responsible for executing the development efforts for the firm and expanding the portfolio of ground-up urban infill and adaptive re-use sites. He also strengthens the firm’s in-house capital markets capabilities by sourcing new construction debt, expanding capital relationships, and negotiating market terms. Before joining Headwall, Nick spearheaded development and capital markets efforts that led to a 10x portfolio growth in assets under management of Merit Commercial Real Estate in San Antonio. He also served a key role at Crow Holdings Development in Dallas where he participated in over 70 closings, totaling over $3.2 billion in multifamily and industrial ground-up developments over a five-year period.
Nick is active in various philanthropic and social clubs in San Antonio and serves on various Real Estate Counsel of San Antonio committees. He is a graduate of both the RECSA Leadership Development Program, graduate class of 2021, and Crow Holdings Young Leadership Program, class of 2019. When he’s not in the office, Nick enjoys competing in barbecue competitions, hunting, relaxing at the lake, following his Fighting Texas Aggie football team, and spending quality time with his wife, Amber and their newborn son. Nick graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Landscape Architecture & Urban Planning and later returned for his Master of Real Estate from Mays Business School.
