Michelle oversees the performance and value enhancement of the growing Headwall portfolio. She has over 20 years of both debt and equity experience overseeing multiple property types ranging from stabilized to those undergoing renovation. She has worked and lived in Washington, DC, New York, San Francisco, New Orleans, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Career highlights include her contribution to American International Group (AIG) in New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In Asia, she formulated the real estate investment programs. She managed the relationship between AIG and Lincoln Properties (AIG Lincoln International) for developments in Europe while handling all new retail investments in the US. Michelle was also part of the team with Swedish Pension Fund, Alecta, that disposed its $2 billion US portfolio to Blackstone. Prior to joining Headwall, she was Director of Asset Management for Las Aguilas in San Antonio.
Past Board Memberships have included Russian Hill Neighborhood Association, Girls, Inc., Communities in Schools, and she served as President of the Board for Dress for Success (New Orleans). Professional organizations included CREW, AREW, and ULI, and she held various roles in ICSC that included ICSC State Operations Chair (LA) and ICSC State Director (AL/MS). Michelle is a Mentor for the San Antonio CRE Launch Program that works to create and attract high-quality real estate talent to San Antonio.
A New Orleans native and graduate of Louisiana State University, she and her husband have enjoyed learning the history of San Antonio and exploring the area.
