As Senior Vice President, Charlie leads Headwall’s Development team, overseeing architecture and development across Tobin Hill, multifamily, and new retail projects in Texas. With more than two decades of experience, he has managed a diverse portfolio of projects—including adaptive reuse, urban mixed-use, commercial office, and hotels—totaling over $500 million in value.
Before joining Headwall, Charlie designed and developed commercial office buildings in San Antonio with Worth & Associates, as well as hotels and self-storage projects for Hixon Properties. He began his career as a design architect with Lake Flato Architects after graduating from the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin.
A San Antonio native, Charlie is a licensed architect in Texas and Colorado. He serves on the advisory council to the UT Austin School of Architecture and on a national committee for the Urban Land Institute. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys golf and quail hunting, but most often you’ll find him with his wife, daughter, and son spending time in the Hill Country or at the beach in Port Aransas.
