Chad serves as Headwall’s Controller, supporting the firm’s commitment to delivering best-in-class fund management and oversight services to its investors. He brings deep experience in institutional fund administration, controllership, and corporate finance, with a background managing both LP and GP capital across closed-end and open-ended private market funds.
Before joining Headwall, Chad led a strategic team overseeing a $3.5 billion open-ended, CorePlus, multi-product real estate fund which benchmarked against the NFI-ODCE index and reported into the NCREIF Property Index and several MSCI private real estate indexes. At Headwall, he focuses on fund structuring, performance analytics, disciplined reporting, and operational efficiency to advance the firm’s growth and regulatory readiness.
Chad is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas. He earned degrees in finance and accounting from Texas State University and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Colorado at Denver. Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Kayla, and their friends, whether around San Antonio or escaping to the Hill Country for weekends at the ranch or lake.
